Digimon Or Pokemon

You know, the time gap between the beginning of pokemon and Digimon wasn't much. Ever considered that they're BOTH orriginal ideas? Or are you just flailing your arms in a fan-boy fit?

I liked Digimon better than pokemon anyway. If it was a copy of pokemon, then I'll still salute them for making a bad show good.

"All ages"...? No. Possibly some of the games can be played by all ages, but the anime (Which is what should be discussed in this forum...) Is for little kids and uber fanboys (And the fan boys aren't usually too old either...) It is not for all ages. It is for kids. The same can be said for digimon, but it goes into violence and action (As well as a story line that doesn't play like a record juggled by Edward Scissorhands) and overall had the better story, and isn't for all ages, but a wider range of ages than pokemon.

me love any kind of pokemon but defiantly the newer episodes

i have to choose digimon i love that show especially the first season it is the seventh best anime i ever seen Pokemon is a close eighth

I think pokemon has been crap ever since the end of the first season. It was cute back then, but then I started to realized that every episode was a copy-paste of the previous one with a different setting.

c really like pokemon cause i first started watching it during the 9th season so i have seen every season every single episode but i still like the newer 1s better the r starting to bring back some of the older characters from the past seasons with i think it is great but if that is what u feel then i am ok with that because it is your own opinion

c i love pokemon it has a great story line there is alot of action and u will never know what happen next

pokefan, bringing back old characters is pretty much their desperation because they know that something is up, and their episodes are reptitive and crap. So now they're trying to bring back Gary and other characters. Right, you're going to make me love you again by bringing back a character we haven't seen fir 8 seasons and that most people don't even remember. Really, I think they were probably pitching for this season and someone said something like, "Oh hey! Remember Gary? We can bring him back!" because everyone had forgotten about him."

I don't really even find it fun to watch because really, if you've seen one pokemon episode you've seen them all, and they bore me pretty quickly. At least Digimon kept things fresh.

Pokemon by far. I never did get into Digimon. It does look pretty good though.

Although Digimon has beter graphics, Pokemon is better, mainly because I use to collect the cards and it was plainly fun to collect and trade the cards.

Pokemon is incredibly repetitive.

1) Ash and the gang discover a pokemon.
2) Said pokemon is owned by some expert on that particular pokemon.
3) Team Rocket shows up to catch pikachu and also have a nefarious plot to capture the episode's "showcase pokemon".
4) Team Rocket is defeated. Everyone is happy and the narrative voice comes on.

For me, this round goes to Digimon.

for anime its digimon i think the 1st and 3rd were really good

Both have 'mon' in them, thus both suck.

well i agree it can be repetitive sometimes but i love watching the show yet and i also love playing the games
