So I started watching Hoshi no Kaabii and thought it was good so I drew this thingamabob. How does it look? Suggestions are great too. Oh yeah I drew it on Photoshop.

Make the left arm so it appears as part of his arm; erase part of the upper arm, where his shoulder would be, if he wasn't such a circle. The shadows need work, too, they look like they all have different light sources.

the odd thing is in the anime the arm nearest the light has no shading. Yeah I was aware of the weird shading I'm accually fixing that now. but which arm? Both of his arms are near where his ear would be.

He looks flat, not enough shading behind him, probably. Or whatever it was you call adding detail behind something to make it appear 3D.

Hey I just made it like the refrence. you can type in Hoshi no Kaabii in youtube and see that this is how they draw him.
