Here we just post tips that we think might be helpful in one way or another.

My tip is to go through all of the theives guild and dark brotherhood. Both will help with your sneak, you get the gray fox cowl at the end of the theives guild (lets you do anything illeagle while wearing it and when you take it off, there is no bounty on your character), they make it easier to get money, snd the theives guild gives you access to secret passages in castles and to a tower in which you could use to loot places and use the passages as exscape routes.

My next tip is to go through the areana as it is easy and gives you access to, once agian, money.

Thats all for now,

Make sure you complete guild quests one at a time and not join all of them. YOu will regret it for many of them are connected through some odd way. EX: Theifs Guild quest where you have to steal from the wizard who is part of the mages guild.
Also upon completing Glarthir's quest "Paranoia" make sure you take his house key. Go into his house with some lock picks/ hard lock spells and lets say you will make a pretty penny. It helps especially when you are just starting. PS: Check the waste basket by the door.
Murphy's Law: It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious.

Also in the Mages guild work on ALL on your magic skills. As you will be able to create wicked spells.

As the head of the mages guild instead of using the duplication glitch. put one of any type of ingredient in the magic chest. later on the chest will have more of the type.

my tips

get your illusion up really good because you get brilliant spells eg. paralyse, invisibility
get good skills, armour, weapons before you start into your missions
explore first to get experience in skills you might need for missions
use your major skills all the time
level up as soon as you can

hope this helps

Concentrate on improving your armour repair skill as its very expensive to keep getting your magical weapons and armour repaired

Yet wouldn't it be just as expensive to buy all of those repair hammers when you break them? Food for thought brought to you by Fablelord.

Not in the long term, it costs thousands to keep repairing magical armour and weapons. Repair hammers only cost about 8 Drakes each and you can always steal/find them.

make sure you save before you exit the sewers because if you want to remake, you don't want to go through the tutorial again.
Meh.

My tips:

Think of how you like to play the game, what skills you use most, etc........then:
Don't make any of those skills a major skill. You see, your minor skills will give you more multipliers when you level up. And don't try to level too much. There's nothing worse than having a stellar marksman skill at level 30, and no melee skills. That's about the time you get "face time" with a minotaur.

And as far as the "tutorial" comment, I agree. But if you want an interesting challenge, play through the tutorial and then accept Baurus' recommendation when he tries to determine your class.
