It would last a week at most. I've got 4,365 rounds of ammo and some great vantage points. There are many many more people like me who have even more ammo and are better shots. Even if the military didn't help at all we could defeat all the zombies.

What is the best zombie movie ever made? Is the Walking Dead TV series worth watching?

The Dawn of the Dead remake, 28 Days Later, and Shaun of the Dead.

The Walking Dead is good but it's gonna be boring for a while if you start from the beginning.

Thanks KingofCorn, I've seen the 'Dawn of the Dead' remake and ejoyed it, I'm surprised you didn't put 'World War Z' on your list, I thought that was pretty good, sequel will be released soon. If I start watching 'The Walking Dead' it makes sense to start from the beginning otherwise I won't have a clue what is going on.

World War z sucked compared to the book. The book was 100% different.

The Walking Dead tends to fluctuate between 'good drama series' and 'soap opera with zombies', but the main characters make so many decisions that are frustrating to the viewer...personally, I'd recommend you just watch the first season, the important episodes of the second season, the third season, the first half of the fourth season and then just give up.

As for a zombocalpyse itself, everyone thinks they'd be awesome survivors in a zombie world. Statistically, almost everyone will end up a zombie.

It won't happen though. A group of undead, slow shuffling corpses would easily get dealt with.

Even the running zombies wouldn't be a problem. This is America. We have the home field advantage and we practice shooting all the time.

I didn't know there was a book, I may try and pick that up. What was so bad about the movie World War Z KingofCorn? I know it wasn't perfect but it was still one of the better zombie movies of recent years. What did you think of Zombieland?

World War Z betrayed the book. In the book the UN guy aka Brad Pitt was just an interviewer. In the book the zombies were slow and changed in 24 hours instead of 10 freaking seconds. In the book there were several detailed battles and viewpoints of dozens of people all over the world. The movie is like naming Titanic Apollo 13.

Zombieland was pretty funny.

The book sounds interesting, classic old school Romero zombies. Not sure I like these super fast zombies Hollywood is doing today, seems a bit silly when you consider they are dead flesh and all of a sudden they're Olympic athletes. Almost as silly as the vampires in Buffy the Vampire Slyaer knowing Karate.

Most vampires usually end somehow trained in something, it's like their shtick. But yea I still need to buy the book for World War Z, I got to sample it and it was good

It's a good book. Any zombie story is unrealistic though. Flesh rots in a few days. They'd just fall apart. The most realistic is probably 28 Days Later. The zombies weren't dead. They were infected with a virus that made them act like zombies without being dead. That's why they could run. The problem is they just starved to death after a few weeks.

28 Days Later wasn't really a zombie film though was it? It was people infected with a strain of rabies or something that turned them into nutter. Can't really call them zombies either seeing as they didn't eat people (bite yes, eat no).

I still think George A. Romero's 1968 Night of the Living Dead is still the best zombie movie ever made. I remember first watching that movie in 1983 and being blown away by it even though it was made in black and white.
