I hate it also. I want to play one of the most anticipated games before it comes out. They did it with Halo:Reach, why not Black Ops

This sucks, because when you have a beta, you get a chance to test servers and get some bugs ironed out before the game releases.

What a disappointment.
Can't say I'm surprised. Halo Reach probably had the beta because I don't think too many people cared about it.

Spam much? Seriously guys I go a little inactive for 2 days and you turn back into 2 year olds? And no, they would be like "What weird GT's..." and ban them from their servers... :p
I already knew there wasn't going to be a Beta, the point of a Beta is to get feedback and most people in Beta's anymore only get them to play the game.
Plus, they said very long ago they had a lot of planning for when they release info and as hard as it may be to stick to it they were going to, making when they say they "Have no plans for a Beta." it means there isn't one.
BTW, if any of what I said is on that page, it was down when I tried to see it...

I never really cared for Betas anyway for some reason haha. I wasn't too suprised to see this wasn't being released as a Beta.

Eh, A beta isn't that important if you've had the game in development for 2 years.
Besides you could say WaW was the beta for this. They got opinions on that and made a new game using opinions on WaW as a guideline. At least for some part.
