It's a 5 KillStreak called a Care Package which is a random mix of 18 things...There's your disadvantage and it does have slower movement speed but it's the same as LMG's.

I'd imagine until you die, or it's out of ammo/you switch it out for another weapon. I've played games in the past where you get a Vulcan mini-gun as a reward & as soon as you've died, switched it out for another weapon (for whatever reason) or its out of ammo it's gone.
