Got it all the way up to 1.28 but prestiged and took a small dip.then it took a big dip when I started playing matches just to unlock pro perks. now it's at 1.19
That's how things usually went for me on MW2 as well haha. I found sitting at 70 too long usually made my K/D drop (probably got too cocky xD) but prestiging always made me think more because I didn't have my usual set ups.

It makes sense, in a way. Because being forced to use new setups (most of the time anyway) forces you to rethink your playing style. Say you're a hardcore camper it takes a while to rebuild your camping kit, so you've got to be a bit more aware of foot traffic around you etc. Same goes with rushing.

K/D doesn't really mean anything in terms of skill. My mate is absolutely horrid at this game and he's keeping a TDM overall K/D of 1.5. His K/D in MW2 was 0.75 at best.
I mean, someone without skill can sit in a corner & still maintain a 2.0K/D in this game.
