Well apprently theres a patch in the works, but is anyone else getting transmission errors/freeze/disconects like every game.
I tried forwarding ports, and everything.
Kinda really disapointed in Treyarch putting out a bad port on the ps3.
The framerate/lag is also horriable, dont know what its like on the 360, but on the ps3 its almost unplayable.
Anyways, anyone else tired of this crap?

The server on this game is definitely the worst of the series, but not unbearable.
Annoying, no doubt, but still playable.
Try deleting any friends you don't need, long story.

Yeah, if you have a ton of friends on your PSN friends list, that will slow your connection down due to data tranmissions between them (if they play Black Ops that is) and yourself as every time they play a game, their info updates, the same as yours..

So yes delete unnecessary friends, try using Locale search settings, not Locale Only or Default. If you do use Locale settings already. Try using Default, other players in your area might have bad or good connections, it's worth a shot.
Depending on your ISP, turn off other devices in your house to get better internet connection. Say if you have AT&T, don't worry about it they are dedicated to each device, Time Warner Cable on the other hand splits itself between active devices in your range.

1024Kb=1mb so yeah your download speed is good.
Upload you getting about .5mb per sec, which isnt that great, but will work. Upload speed is very critical to hosting though.
And thanks guys, ill try the friend thing and a few other things.
Hopefully this gets resolved soon.
