I prestiged once on a double xp weekend just because I was bored and wanted to feel like I was working towards something again.
Golden guns are nice and all but if I really wanted to use them I'd just play private matches or online via LAN.

That's the only reason I prestige, and it turns out I never feel like playing to the next prestige.
