Why is'nt the Dragunov playable in Multiplayer?

Because it's totally overpowered in single player, and I'd imagine they didn't have time to nerf it or something. There is more than enough semi-auto snipers anyway.

I'm glad the Drug isn't in the game - I hated it with a HUGE passion.

Same with the WA2000 & M21EBR.

I do not like those semi's. I use the Barrett, but I still don't like it. I don't really like the idea of a Semi-automatic sniper rifle. whenever I think of a Sniper rifle - I always think of a high-powered, long barreled bolt-action rifle.

I'm using Intervention and it's not to bad.

Question: How come when i use Intervention w/o anything it's always a one shot kill but when i use it with FMJ and stopping power it takes 2-4 shots?

Dragunov was the best Sniper for HC in CoD4. I absolutely adored it.
Why they took it out is a mystery, as many people loved it.

And i would say its the best sniper.

I loved the Dragunov in CoD4 for Core and HardCore.

And was disappointed when they said it wouldn't be in the Multiplayer portion of the game.

IMO, it would have been the only gun in the game that was actually good with the ACOG Scope.

I think they didn't include it because of the time it would have taken to redo the multipliers because it had no benefit from Stopping Power, and no one would like it because it wasn't the same as before, so they just replaced it.

Nick - as to your question about the Intervention? No idea - I'm always getting OHKs will the intervention - except if I'm using a silencer. For some reason I never get OHKs with a silencer equipted unless I get headshots.

As for the Drug - I'm glad its gone - with all the newer versions of snipers, I couldn't see why they'd bring in an 'older' sniper - Sure the Models are old - but they hadn't been used before & I highly doubt they'll use these in the nxt MW as there's been a lot of controversy with them.

Well, I hope they don't - the never seemed to work for me, as they have for others & that annoyed me

Depends on what you mean by "best".

If you want one-shot kills, the Barrett is the best (beating out or being the same as the Intervention in every possible way).

The WA2000 is great for both one-shot kills and stealth sniping, making it a medium between the Intervention and Barret and the M21/M14 EBR.

The M21 EBR is great for stealth sniping, since it's a two-shot kill even with stopping power when not silenced. When laying down in some grass with a ghillie suit on and using a silenced EBR w/ Sleight of Hand Pro (Or Bling if you want a thermal scope), Cold Blooded Pro, and Ninja Pro, you are very difficult to find.

Ya know what Moo, I have to agree with what you've said. Mostly.

The WA2000 is a great stealth rifle. I often used the WA2000 with a silencer+HB sens. (I hate it, but its what I used for HC TDM (mainly used HB sens. because of the massive blind spot the gun has (which is 1 reason I hate it)) & the fact that its pretty stable whilst holding breath & double tapping - so the kills come easily enough. I just don't like having to double tap. The M21 is just terrible I reckon.

the WA2000 with ACOG is pretty good, as you can use it for distance shots, but also upclose as its more stable than the barrett. I've gotn 35-4-4 in MTD on Afghan using the ACOG - its the most effective ACOG rifle I reckon, on par with the Intervention I reckon for ACOG use anyway

I used Interveention w/ HB sensor and silencer for playing search and destroy i was'nt geting killed as much.

Might use the Barret until i get any other guns.

I use all guns to unlock everything (except extended mags - that just takes too long unless you boost [which I'm heavily against])

I just can't go past the Intervention for sheer epicness. Intervention+thermal= win for me. I do better at quick scoping with the thermal than the orginal scope for some reason lmao

i never got the hand of the dragunov.i prefer the barret and am awesome with it.to me barret is the best sniper you can get in multiplayer.intervention is just weird so thats ruled out ot the max.

I've got better using the Intervention i got a skill *cough*lucky kill in search and destroy, don't think the guy was happy about it.

I don't like n00bs using the Barrett.

Just pumping R1 10 times & getting a hit then crying out in the lobbie "OH DID YOU SEE THAT MEAN NO-SCOPE!!!?"

I never cared for the Drag.

I miss the M40 as well. I loved that gun XD
