fyi if u didnt know, wei yan was used in a strategy of sima yis which told his troops not to atttack him so zhuge liang thought wei yan had betrayed him so they attacked him.I found this out in dw4xl. If u noticed in the battle of chen cang when u are getting his 4th weapon or for any other thing when u are doing that mission sima yi wants wei yan to submit to him. and he says that zhuge liang dosent trust him nut liu bei did.
