go near the entrance to bowerstone south and there will be a shop keeper there before you are about to leave.thats the easist place to get one.

oakvale is easiest and cheapest but if you plan to marry early in the game bowerstone south is the one

You can get to Oakvale at the beginning of the game anyway as soon as you ahve beaten the Wasp Queen just go through greatwood then through Darkwood you don't have to wait for the Excort the Traders Quest
