Houses

Which house did you get? Which do you like better? (even though it's not really that different except for the Megaton house has 2 floors and you're going to have very different karma depending on which you have.)

Megaton House. I've never had the Tenpenny Suite, but to get it, you have to blow up Megaton, and Megaton is cool.

I hated Burke, so I have the Megaton house. I went to Tenpenny later and unleashed the ghouls there too. I couldn't stand those people

Ok, so how about your favorite theme for the house? Favorite house item to get?

Currently I have my shack of a house in Megaton, which I will more than likely blow up first chance I get. XD

I too have the megaton house. I have yet to choose a good theme for it.

i prefer Megaton but mainly because i prefer to play the game as a good guy. However tenpenny suite has a Balcony which is cool.

The themes were disappointing connsidering how much they cost. The lover theme gives you a bed like Eulogies on the ground floor but alas no scantly clad young lasses to keep you company.

well they did give you stuff like the pre war gave you food and i think it was the raider that gave you weapons and such

I know that the Wastelander theme gave you weapons. I'll have to check the Raider theme for that.

A couple themes give you skill books.

I know that the Science Theme in Tenpenny Tower gets you a Big Book of Science, and the Love Machine in one of the two gets you a Lying, Congressional Style book.

But the weaponry is pretty limited. Hunting Rifles, Assault Rifles, Grenades, only really useful at the beginning of the game, right when you don't have money for the themes.

I have the Science theme in Megaton and everything there is to buy for it.

I have the Megaton house, but I prefer to use places in the Wasteland as a home. Shelter and the Abandoned Car Fort, among a few others.

That's pretty weird. I would keep it all in one place.

That's what I did in Oblivion with my many houses i just kept a certain thing in one house which makes it seem like you have more stuff then you do or can cut down on your travel time if your near there. Oh and Animefreak I still can't find Shelter.

Be careful if you have Fawkes as a follower in that case. Chances are, you can get stuck in your room as Fawkes and Wadsworth can block the doorway.

I used to live in Megaton, but now, since I did Reilly's Rangers, I live at the Ranger Compound.

I created a second character. I had her blow up Megaton. So now she lives in Tenpenny Tower.
