What is your favorite thing to do right after emerging from Vault 101 to get yourself started right?
Personally, I go grab 300 caps from Silver, grab three frag grenades and some meds from a mail box and haead to Megaton.
There, I complete The Power of the Atom by disarming the bomb, repair the pipes to get some more caps and set up my Scrap Metal trading line, steal whatever I like (Including Lucas Simms' Key to get the Strength Bobblehead and the stuff in the armory.) and I start the Wasteland survival guide to get the Armor Vault 101 Suit, the Rad Regeneration Perk, and then I head off to the Super Duper Mart to get some supplies and weapons (Laser Pistol, Hunting Rifle, Combat Shotgun, Assault Rifle, exc)
So, what do you do to get your adventure started in the right way?

No, I mean RIGHT when you first get out of the vault, how do you like to start your adventure, since that's normally the hardest part of the game, having cruddy armor and weapons.

Visit Megaton, repair the water pipes and get 200 caps from Walter, get another 300 caps from Silver, tell Mister Burke that I'll blow up Megaton (Only to report him to Lucas Simms and get a free Chinese Assault Rifle) Disarm the bomb, and start the Wasteland Survival Guide.

I go to Megaton and do the stuff there, like the scrap metal stuff and Moira's quest and disarming the bomb. Then I usually go to the Super Duper Mart and get my second favorite weapon, the laser pistol. Then I'll probably go to the Talon Company Camp and get my favorite weapon, the laser rifle. I usually try to pick fights with Talon Company Mercs to get their armor.
