im trying to do the broken pendent but i maild cid on accident so does that mess me up?

no it doesnt mess you up if you mailed cid...you'll actually have to mail Cid to get the Orichulum...and please refrain from double posting... if you want to do the broken pendant quest see a walkthrough for extreme detail...that or send her the mail...and then go visit her in her room...
