Ok thanks, i got it now. Well does anyone know the best way and the best place to level up materia? I want to get a bunch of KOTR summons fast.

I got the w-summon materia at the battle arena, but it doesnt even seem to do anything. Can someone tell me what it does, or what i need to do to get it to work.

For bigger growth use Cloud's Apocalypse weapon(found in the cave at the end of the Ancient forest)or/and Cid's Trident weapon(found left of the submarine when you first aquire it).They both have triple growth rate.As for w-summon it allows you to use two summons at once.

YOU WILL NEED!!!.
Under water Materia (for Emerald
HP Plus MASTER x2 all characters
ALL BAHAMUTS Incl Zero Bahamut with Quadra Magic
Ultimate weapons for cloud and redxiii
Phoenix 3 star +
F Attk 2-3 star+
cure 3 all
Hades 3 star
Omnislash Mime
Life OR life 2

Unlike the other weapons Ruby has a MAJOR FLAW

He can be paralyzed

start the fight with one ko'd character and cloud with omnislash and mime, that way he cannot suck one of your characters out and leave you to get an *** wooping with 2 characters to use

straight away cast HAdes and ruby will be paralyzed but the annoying tentacle things wont. then revive the character
IGNORE THESE!!! get cloud to use omnislash and get him to keep miming it until ruby comes round from his paralysis
and try to hit him again with HAdes, if sucessful clobber him with alternate Bahamuts using the one with bahamut quadra magic last as this will hit him 4 times Multiplyed by the number of times you can cast the spell so if you have mastered that bahamut it will hit him 20 times( this is what i have been told but i never actually got my bahamut zero mastered by that time)
if should'ave suffered a lot of damaged by now and will be getting rather edgy at this.
he will probably cast Either Shadow flare or Ultima.

If your characters have high levels and defence then you should survive both these spells seperately.
IMPORTANT notice make sure the character who has phoenix and f.attk
falls last as Long as there is sufficient mp he will cast phoenix deal damage and revive all characters fully(even Mp i think, its been a while since i last played
by now cloud should have his limit back.
Cast Hades once more and let rip with omnislash and mime it repeatedly until he comes round again.

you souldn't floor him using this strategy once through, you may need to repeat it 2-3 times.
it took me about 20-25 minutes to kill him and about the same time for emerald as well

you get desert rose from him and give this to the guy in kalm for master materia
EMERALD WEAPON

use the same techniques used for ruby But only DOn't try to paralyze him.
if you can and you should have had your mime go up a level to master,
give the new one to another character and equip him with KOTR and MP boost lv4-5 star then get cloud to mime it and mime it again until your other mimer is down, get cloud to use omnislash and mime it again( if you are lucky he will drop the other character for you and then take out cloud and he will be revived from the phoenix

IMPORTANT notice
emerald has a devastating move called Aire Tam ( this backwards is MATERIA) Storm which does damage depending on how much materia you have, its level and its type
NONE OF YOUR CHARACTERS WILL SURVIVE THIS!!!!
again phoenix will revive your characters ready for you to hammer away.
DEMI lv 1 WORKS very well against this boss as he is weak against gravity

after a while you should drop him and will give you the earth harp for the guy in kalm and he gives you a gold chocobo in return
(don't use it for races as its stamina is poor and has top speed of about70-80kph and won't advance much further

Tissues dont do anything.First to get the stuff you cant find you need to breed chocobos.

you could get final attack by first getting omnislash in the battle arena than w summon and equip it someone. cloud must no omnislash, than talk to the lady at the gold saucer battle arena and i think u fight some special battle and if u win u get final attack. most people dont no this cuz of the major error when somebody typed up the official stradegy guides. Holy krap i cant believe i remember this stuff i have not played it for like 3 years.

Triple post lol man.Anyway Aeris is unrevivable.There are many cheats to get her back but all are fake.You can only revive her with a Gameshark apparently.
