I read this book called Bartimeaus: The Amulet of Samerkand and if I remember correctly they said that a frit was a high level fire demon which magicians of great power can summon to do their bidding, whether good or evil.
I liked this book very much and you guys (and gals) should read it.

Thats good but you might want to make it longer you should add resons why you want to join and add some back up statments to make it sound better
