Did you like X-2

i liked DoC but it didnt seem like a final fantasy

in an off-topic response.

I have a friend who is playing CC over X for a few days (I just lent her X yesterday and she wants to finish up CC first) But I did hear it was a let down and very unFF.

A total let down. The only way its abit like FF in some of the enemies and thats about it >_<

It wasn't that bad.

I was compared to the PS2's and PSone's Final Fantasy games

I see. Compared to those it was terrible.

It would of been an ok game if it didnt have the name Final Fantasy in it but it did and it sucked because its just not a Final Fantasy game

I actually like the game,at first i was afraid i wouldn't like it because I always do some research before I buy a game so it doesn't disappoints me and some people told me It wasn't worth buying, i should rent it first and all.But after playing for a while i think the game has a very interesting battle system and the story is also very cool.And one of the reasons I'm enjoying playing is because i want to find out what happened to tidus.

I think renting a FF game is piontless because you will never complete the game within the time you have rented it

I rented FF X for a week and only got to the first Seymour battle. I never bothered renting X-2 because my Aunt bought it for me on my birthday. Then my brother broke it. I can play, but I can't start a new game or a new game plus.

well that just sucks not being able to do that.

FFX no. FFX-2 yes, press start and then press square.

I never played any Final Fantasies except X and X-2. Here are the pros and cons of both games in my opinion:

FFX:
Pros: Slow Battle Style so you can actually have time to pick your Move, has an Overdrive, has more than 3 Characters to play with, and you can Summon Aeons, didn't have to wait an amount of time to cast a spell or use a good attack, any Character could learn almost any Move.

Cons: Too many people to Balance out the stats in the Sphere Grid, sometimes gets boring because of the slow battle style, Tidus ran too slow, didn't raise stats when levelling up.

FFX-2:
Pros: Fast Battle Style so you can actually get more into the game and pay attention more, you can have guns, have Dresspheres, Yuna runs faster than Tidus did, tells how much progress you made in the game.

Cons: No Aeons to summon, the Dresspheres only had moves for each one (Example, Tidus and Wakka could learn White Magic and Black Magic in FFX even though they're Warriors), Magic and moves that cost MP takes an amount of time to use, there is no "Strongest" person for each Dress Sphere (Example, Lulu was the best with Black Magic), and if you don't have 100% completion, you can't see the Perfect Ending.

Overall, I liked FFX better because any person could learn any move, but FFX-2 is still fun because the battles go faster than usual. So, it just depends on what mood I am in. But most of the time, I loved FFX because I loved the Sphere Grid.
