need help with crawler

k i need help with crawler
i had no idea about kimarlies spec attacks(fire breath,aqua breath ect) so i cant use them
i had no idea how good rikkus items could be so i havent got any
please help

yes but what then-i iether have to summon for a subsitute from mage beam or his assult just kills my summons in 2 hits-and lulu only has 599 hp

Crawler has 16000HP and the Negator has 1000HP

Your first bet is to take out the Negator to make the battle much easier. Bring in Wakka since he's the only one who can attack Negator. The Gatling Gun attack is an attack to watch out for, it attacks multiple times and does about 160 HP of damage each time, so some of your less developed characters
can fall...especially if they are alone. Tidus' Cheer ability is incredibly useful in this battle. Have him cast it several times to reduce the damage of the Crawler. Summon Ixion for this battle since it's weak against lightning attacks. Use Thundara attacks constantly...but becareful as it will counter with Assault. Also watch for the Mana Beam, I doubt you'll deal enough damage before taking full impact, but as cruel as this may sound, bring in a summon you know you won't need much, like Ifrit and use Shield to take the damage for the party. HOWEVER, if the Negator comes back and Rikku steals, then the Mana Beam is interupted. Have Rikku use Lightning Marbles or any Lightning items if you have any.

dont worry i had trouble with this thing too. The trick is to use tidus and auron, i forgot what i did for this thing but i know for sure i used them. Oh yeah use lulu, make sure shes good with thunder magic, then strike or something like that, last resort restart game and train in expert mode. making sure tidus goes through all of the atk+4 abilitys.

i think you had wakka for 3rd person cos hes only one who can damage the negator

lulu only has the normal level black magic

my tidus only hits 100s with 5 cheers
my auron only hits 200s with 5 cheers

well just use Wakka to kill the thing flying in the air. Make sure Lulu's and Ixion's overdrive is max put equip any weapons that deal lightning damage plus use and items that you have picked up from enemies that also deal lightning damage if you dont have any have Yuna in your team to heal all the time and keep using ethers to top up lulu's MP and have her in your team all the time and have her always casting lightning and nothing else.

well thats the only help I can give yer on this boss there is nothing else pretty much else you could do that is effective

OK, I'll get back to you with a strategy on the Crawler. These strategies are quite good though. As for how close you are to the end... I can't remember, is the Crawler fight before or after the Calm Lands?

Oh yeah, Crawler's just after Macalania woods, isn't it? Well, I'm pretty sure it's the Calm Lands next... then just Zanarkand and Sin, and you've finished the game! So yeah, you are fairly close to the end, though you've still got a good way to go.

I thought the crawler was after the Mcalania agency???

if it is then after that you go to Macalania Temple then Bikanal Desert, Bevelle, Macalania Woods exit area, Calm Land, A temple hidden in the Calm Lands(Optional), The Sunken Cave(Optional), Mt.Gagazat, Zanarkand, Bevelle, Inside Sin, (Optional, all hidden stuff like Baaj Temple etc. Now you have the airship.), Finshed the game.

OK, OK, so I was wrong. It's not the close to the end. Oh well.
