i was just wondering if there was a certain way to defeat The first time you see maester Seymore...
I can get past Anima, sometimes..
but i keep dying because of Multi-Element
If anyone could help me i would be very thankful

You need to nulify all of your characters using the Nul spells. First make sure you cast Haste though.

and where is it on the sphere grid

First of all Tidus, the mainish character, is the one who gets haste. And this is a KEY tip that really helps. If you have HELP on during fights and such, it shows some info on your enemies, it will tell you the order of his spells so you can cast the NUL spells in the right order before he can hit you with it and make it a ton easier. There we go...I think I helped.

Tidus learns it. Just keep training him. But, if you were training properly, you would have it by now.

Also I dont know if you know this but to help you if you dont. use Rikku steal ability to the two Guado's that fight with Seymoure and you will get a hi-potion from both of them which will help alot coz now the two Guado cant counter with hi-potion no more. With Seymoure and the element attack, watch what order he dose the element magic attacks because it will stay that order and then you will know what Nul-??? magic to do which turn so if you do it right no one should get hit with and magic attacks.

I take it you're using the Expert Grid, then? Because on the Standard grid, he goes past it no matter which way you go. Unless you backtrack to the start of his area as soon as you get a Lv. 1 Key Sphere and enter Kimahri's area.

Btw, it's spelt "Seymour", not "Seymore". ;-)

im using the grid thats alot of big and small circles that you use spheres to get stuff :\

Well, yes, that's what they're both like.

If you don't know the difference, then you must be using a version of the game which only has the Standard Grid. In which case I really don't see how you don't have Haste yet. O_o

It is a white magic spell. And by the way, if you knew what I suggested earlier then you don't need our help you must just suck at the game. You do not need haste in any fight in the game it just makes it easier. I mean, the first time you fight Seymour it is easy, just pay attention to what order he attacks in and you can't lose. I mean really, how do you lose to him the first time? That is pathetic.

Alternate strategy: don't use aeons in the first half. In the second half, summon aeons and use their overdrives instantly. After that, he shouldn't have much health left.

Yeah, I mean, I beat Anima without even healing anybody, my people were really. really strong by the first time I fought Seymour.

The ultimate strategy for beating almost any boss in existence on FFX. Apart from Nemesis, he keeps destroying me. It's sad, really.

this boss is sooooo easy just keep these 3 people in the party more then half the time...auron(always keep him in the party anyway),tidus,yuna.first talk with tidus he gets a bonus in somethign but I dont remember.once you do that switch khimari or whoever you had with riku so you can steal the hi potions from the other guard people.everytime yonas turn come use her nul spells so seymorias(I call him that) attack are not goign to hurt you once the guards are dead with aurons physical attacks switch rikterd(rikku)for tidus and cast haste to some of your people if you can,kill seymoria half way and he will summon anima!!!summon the ??? aeon and use blizzara and hopefully you should kill him by then,if not summon ixion and finish it.once seymorias back your null spells should still be in play so your in the clear!go for the kill with auron and tidus,and then watch the scene next scene its kinda cool since seymoria ...

Sounds like a better strategy than any of us have come up with.

the problem with me was when I did this battle was I never used my aeons or yuna so my aeons werent thar strong

Well the aeons don't get stronger with use so I really don't see the problem.

The aeons get stronger as yuna gets stronger so if you use yuna alot, you should have strong aeons
