Not me I just started really. I'm only lvl 9 and have completed two hunts. When is a good time to focus on hunts and forget about the story? I just got out of those dungeons after defeating the big spider boss and have just returned to the city. I guess I'm not that far into the game eh?

Not really. You should do hunts as they come along. Do all the available hunts for a time then go through the story, and do more when they pop up.
