Favorite magic spells?

Why? Bubble works on everyone doesn't it?

I guess it would have saved time especially in a difficult fight instead of having to cast it on your characters individually.

I only use bubble if I have the bubble belt equipeed...of course then I have to have it

why only use it when you have a bubble belt? That makes little sense to me.

I always have bubble belt anyway, nothing else is as good.

I don't bother cause its not like i'm versing a boss everywhere I go so theres little point in using it

I hate spells like death and kill, they have never worked well in any of the games, kinda pointless if you ask me. Kinda like vanish/ga

Yeah, some of the pointless spells get on my nerves.

Same here, Firaga must be unlucky becuase I use death all the tie and it works. What I do to kill monsters is just use warp motes to send them to some dimension, easy.

So warp is one of my fav spells.

I've only used warp like once, I didn't wanna fight something in Giruvegan so i just sent him off lol.

I liked how you could buy warp motes,made some parts for me a heck of alot easier

That's true, the necrohol, the Giruvegan, alot of parts. Huzzah for warp motes!

i dont like death spell either, i takes too long to count down. Great if its cast on your team but not if its on enemies. I dont think it works on any of the bosses. I like Scathe and all the spells you get last. Its a pity you dont get them till so far into the game. Holy i think you should get a lot sooner!

The spell Death kills enemies straight away it does have a high chance of missing though the spell you are thinking of is Countdown. Yeah I agree it would be a lot better if you got Scathe, Ardour, Flare and Holy a little bit earlier in the game.

I am! Yes of course. I also get mixed up with FFX where Lulu has a spell which kills immediatley..Muerte its called so kill or death i supose in english. Any spells that countdown i hate. Waste of time unless it works on a boss. Give me Quickenings any day.

Yeah I guess the Countdown spell is a waste of time since you could have the enemy beaten already by the time the countdown is finished. Quickenings aren't always that useful first of all the damage is random thats a little annoying plus most of the really hard bosses use physical attack barriers making the Quickenings useless while the barrier is up and most of all they use up all your MP.

Yeah you really have to be aware of when barriers have gone up and down. Trying to keep your team with full mps can be annoying. Once i remember chaining about 15 quickenings in one of the later boss fights and it took off about a tenth of its hp. I was fuming. But on the pluss side, remember the King Bomb who kept healing itself? The only way i killed him was through quickenings otherwise he just kept healing and spawning.

Yeah they will help there but thats because he is one of the weaker bosses and if you don't take enough damage he will get the chance to use Renew. To stop him from using cry for help to summon weaker bombs just cast Silence on him and to stop him from using renew on him just put disease on him. After it uses Renew of few times it seems to use it less after that.

I didnt have disease at that point. I think i used guns with water bullets and water based elemental weapons. Disease thats on hell of a spell when it works. Id forgotten about that one. Immobilise i like too.
