Best equipment

Yeah I didn't use heavy armour for the helm though I usually used the Crown Of Laurels since it had a very high magic defense and it increased hp by almost 1000.

I forget what equipment I use, I haven't played in a while. I'm pretty sure Vaan has the Ragnarok though.

Yeah I got that too from the Ixion hunt I like the fact that it has on hit immobilize.

Firstses HP by 800. I was wondering why you had that in your equipment list, because I didn't know that until yesterday.

I have all of my characters equipped with white/black masks, circlet, or crown of Laurels, depending on who I am fighting.

I like having really high hp so I usually stick with the crown of laurels and it has better magic defense than most other armour.

How do you get that? BTW I found the Excalibur today!

Congratulations on finding the Excalibur. To get the Crown of Laurels you have to chain the Crusaders in the Nabreus Deadlands. How long did it take you to find the Excalibur?

I was in the Great Crystal for about an hour. Not looking for the Excalibur actually, I was just training. BTW you can buy that crown thingy in Balfonheim.

Hey thats the same way I found it I wasn't looking for it either I think its easier that way. Thanks I didn't know that anyway I got it for free in the Nabreus Deadlands and you can get it a lot earlier in the game that way. I tried to get it when I reached the Salikawood the last time I played. I forgot that there was an entrance to the Nabreus Deadlands from the Salikawoods so I tried to run through the Necrohol Of Nabudis. Took a while to chain the Crusaders too since I could only fight one of them each time.

I was detouring throught the deadlands today, found a teleport crystal and haven't gone back since.

Oh yeah the one where you have to beat the fake crystal first to get the teleport crystal to appear.

Yeah. I killed a Leamonde Entite while I was there. Excalibur helps a lot, especially in the mines.

Its too bad you can only get one though.

True, but with Bravery I hit 9999 on anything weak to holy.

Excalibur+Brave Suit=pure pwn. =P

I don't think its available in any shop you can get it in the Henne Mines phase 2 dig if you have the Diamond Armlet equiped, the special charter shaft and inside the great crystal.

Ugh...I hate the diamond armlet, I get too many knots of rust.

Yeah but I'm positive thats the only way to get it you can't even get it in the Bazaar.

I found out what knots of rust do. They improve Shemhazai's final attack. All the damage you have done with knots of rust are added together until she does her final attack.so If you do 80,000 damage with knots of rust up to the point where you get her, her final attack will do 80,000 the first time she does it. You lose all the damage points you have gotten after she uses it though.

And the only way I know to get it is in the Great Crystal.
