Attempting to beat the first big Hydra boss after hours of beating this things head against the post it does not seem to splinter. What am I doing wrong? At times the O seams to be nestled on its head is this the time to enter the mini game? I never seem to be in the right place!!

Yes you have to enter the mini game asnd then you will have to press circle as fast as possible.

wow thats soo easy. i finished off that hydra without getting any damage, but yea thats what you have to do.
