It is called "Action Replay" and is a cheat disc, you can buy it in most of the stores where you can buy games, then you can download cheats on it but also can do it manual.

Now.......how do I get a Formula One car? I've raced/won all but the 24 Hr endurance races, the 8hr endurance and the 9Hr endurance, a few HARD dirt corses and NO F1 CAR yet. One bad thing about GT4 is it takes way too long to aquire a real-real fast car.
I JUST got the Minolta Toyota Race Car last week. REAL FAST CAR,@ 1001 bhp w/ only 950kg of weight.....but it can't run w/the F1's.

i think you can win the entire game with these codes at work,obviously only should be used when you cant do a race and seems impossible cause it will take the fun out of gaming if used everywhere.

yeah, i know what you mean. so here it goes:
1. first when you pop the AR max Disc, adn it loads up, go to settings and change the boot mode form quick to expert mode.
2. once done get out of setting and when you get to expert mode got to "add new game".
3. type in the name of the game and then the master code.
4. type in all the codes that you want.
5. most important of all you have to have the right codes, depending on the counrty you live in and if you have the action replay that is either for the european console or the acmerican console. if you gp to codejunkies.com you should find them there.

also there is an easy way to update codes without having broadband and the USB flash drive. i used a CD-R to update my codes. if you want the steps for it just ask.

well it really depends if you like racing games or not. if you do like em then it is a great game and worth buying, if not then i suggest you shouldnt buy it.

Like Mega cool said, It depends on the person. I LOVE MOST racing games, especially if they're simulation style. I also meet lots of people who can't stand them. Especially simulation. If you like arcade style racing where you can do 110 MPH around sharp corners and still grip the freakin' road, YOU WILL HATE GRAND TURISMO!. If you like driving fast cars with great care & great skill, BUY TURISMO. You won't be dissapointed.

hey im only replying to this so hemidart isn't the last person to reply to this but anyway. whenever I try to download cheats I get them off the computer properly but when I put in my AR disk it says there is an error and I can't get the cheats. Do you know how I can make it work?
