There are six Maps in total, three come with Wars or Recon, and the other three I believe are coming our early next year.

well the mythic pack is only 3 maps, there will be another map pack which contains the other 3, at least thats what bungie have said so far.

bungie announced that the mythic map pack would be released with Halowars and RECON and listed 3 maps.

The Mythic Map Pack is coming early 2009, possibly before Halo Wars which is also due around early 2009.
There are 6 maps in total.
Halo Wars comes with only three maps.
Halo 3: ODST (no longer called Recon, check http://www.bungie.net/News/Blog.aspx?mode=news#cid16289
for proof) comes with all 6 mythic maps but is released between Sept-Nov 2009.
There are not two seperate Map Packs. Bungie has not confirmed that, as it is false. There is only ONE Map Pack and that is the Mythic Map pack.
Checking the News on bungie.net allow you to know exactly when the MMP is coming out.

i hope the mythic pack is less than 980mp coz i bought a few thibgs off the market place and thats all i got left.
