here is a qiuck thing to do at the begining use trinity limit so his gardge gose down and you have the advantge

I beat him on level 73 with oblivion I had 3 ethers and 3 hi-potions
you should also have trinity limit it really helps

Oh,anyway the key to defeat him is to have your limit ready and to be about lvl45 to lvl99 as i defeated him on 57.make sure you got Curaga and cure limit on the abilities,as when you cast cure it keeps curing you until mp charge runs out.also,try to get the oblivion or ultima and the gaia belt,the belt gives 4 defence.
if you kill seprioth you get Fenrir, it has 7 strength!! (and 1 mage)

oops,i forgot something.Get about 40 elixirs and put one in items.then turn on auto-refill.this makes the elixirs reload when you use them. and use block reaction whenever possible.And you cant use drive form while fighting him.
