How most of the top time trials in the mario kart wii channel have funky kong and the flame runner(bowser bike)? I know the flame runner is fast but why is it funky kong?

It is said that they removed individual Character Stats. I highly doubt it. I've seen the difference myself. I did the exact same timing with Dry Bowser and Funky Kong in the Flame Runner, and Funky was always ahead at the start. I think he gives a boost to Start Up speed. As with Rosalina, whom is a Heavy Weight but acts Middle.
