MineCraft is a brand new game developed by a person named "Notch" (Markus Persson). Within the last year, Notch developed and coded this game and designed it as a world where you survive all alone with no one else around you. Your objective, other than survival, is to construct your own home on whichever island you happen to spawn on. The entire terrain is made entirely of square cubes. Literally everything is blocky. You have a vast amount of creatures around the land that you can defeat and gain items from.
The good creatures:
Pigs
Sheep
Chickens
Cows
The bad creatures:
Zombies - Night only (Burns on sunlight contact)
Skeletons - Night only (Burns on sunlight contact)
Creepers - Night only (can survive in sunlight, but isn't aggressive)
Spiders - Night only (can survive in sunlight, but isn't aggressive)
Slimes - Caves only (Not sure if lights on fire from sunlight or not)
Now, these all give items. Pigs give bacon, sheep give wool, chickens give feathers or eggs, and cows can give milk or their 'skin' to make leather. The Zombies also give feathers, skeletons give arrows, creepers give gunpowder, and spiders give string.
These items, specifically, are very essential to survival, if you know how to use them.
So, has anyone else experienced this amazing game yet? :D
