February 2010 -> Programming class in school -> I'm sitting there bored out of my mind since it was a free period. A classmate was playing it, so I tried it out. I loved it immediately. I played on a server called Dragons Den. I then located World of Minecraft and joined them that weekend. I've been playing ever since.
Forgot I had this tag.
I'm also torn between Red and Green from Super Effective.
People kept asking me for minecraft skins. I now tell them to go to my website to request them.

I remember really starting to play when a friend of mine you probably know (Tarno) showed us at the time TheOnes (now Blocktopia) zombie survival. Before that I just played only occasionally when I had nothing else to do

Well actually I was just chillin'in my room when my bro JOLTEON42 burst into the room and he said something like: "Dude, I just found the best flash game evar!" I was sceptical so he showed me a freebuild server on classic and I was like. "Big deal and stuff." And like that whole day he was just playing it like a zombie. So that night I was like: "Dude will you stop bugging me if I try it?" He was like: "Yeah." And I dramatically grabbed my laptop and opened www.minecraft.net.
"This is lame." I thought as I was playing classic offline. "I don't see where the addiction comes in..." And my bro saw me and laughed and I was like: "Wut?" And he said: "Dude get an account and play online." I did that, and I was hooked ever since.
I don't have a premium account anymore though :( The guy who lent it to me changed his password.

For me, it was a topic on another forum around July/August 2009. The game was just starting, we only had Creative Single and Multi-Player. I remember getting a bunch of SC members to join: Ghost, Namek, Abdul, Proc, Qwert, Tbug, Lukie and Mac all played at least a few times.
I ended up spending most of that Summer playing with Ghost and Namek (and Abdul, a bit later on). Me and Ghost used to do crap all the time, haha. Great times.

Got the beta.
Then I got a ton of my friends into it, now we have a payed for 24/7 server. Hah.
