Project Sketch, My idea for a texture pack

Here`s what I posted on the minecraft forums:


Hello, 3zekiel here, Im 15 years old and I love texture packs. Ive tried a LOT of texture packs and there are a lot of really nice ones. Textures like bordercraft, scribblecraft and ovo`s rustic pack inspired me to create a texture pack myself. A hand-drawn texture pack, like scribblecraft, but a bit more detailed.

unfortunately, I am not particularly competent with computers or digital art. So naturally I am in need of a helpful artist who knows their way around Photoshop/gimp/other, who can color, and make the images I draw usable for a texture pack. I am definitely open to constructive criticism and suggestions.

over the summer I will probably have nothing but time on my hands, so I should manage to complete a large chunk of the pack over the summer.

I have pictures of my ideas on the forum.

thanks, I got one person to help so far, but he doesnt have experience with HD textures.. However it may still work. More help is always appreciated from anywhere.

Well I'm sorry I can't help, I suck at almost all graphics, let alone texture packs.

I'm going to take a shot at this, no promises.

Quake, I do need some help with the coloring, it'd be nice if you got back to me on that.

erm sure, whats the problem?

What's the color scheme you want? Dark, bright, focus on certain colors or what?

I think it should be rather dark, the theme of my sketches to me say Dark type theme, perhaps post-apocalyptic.

this seems like a good idea quake . ill keep an eye out at wom realms for eny good pack artists to help you.
