well i am at the akantor and have not had any g ranked elder dragons. how am i supposed to get fire dragon jewels and powder without the missions. how do i get the missions?

hrmm, i ask the same question.
I think you have to complete ALL the quests in hr 4-6 OR 4-5. I would not know as i never got them lol.

The kirin is difficult, i just beat the hr 9 kirin about a month ago (the last time i played
so i can see y ur stuck.

DUDE!!! NO!! I'm srry, but monster hunter is the one game i will NEVER approve of cheating, EVER!
Its one of the only games that requires both a high degree of intelligence and gaming skills to acctually perfect the game. Getting a cheated game save just takes all the skill and enjoyment out of the game. Plus, you do actually feel great inside when you finally finish what you spent a while trying to get, yes, i would know after doing gravy brain stem runs, getting 10 of those things took over 10 hours. After i got the tenth one i jumped out my window and almost broke my psp (that wasnt to bright) but still. I think i speak for every1 when i say:
NO CHEATING ON MONSTER HUNTER!!!!
