Just for ur info, if ur going for HR5 quest n above SOLO, DONT use dual. Low attack power n no guard is one of the most important things when going solo (with friends, ok 2 use dual). Best bet is LS, GS or SnS. But still, its up 2 u. Anyway, back to topic. I reccomend:

if you have any of these,i recomened using them with armor that gives you sharpness +1 or if your lucky 2.

I suggest you don't use DS if your soloing. Might i suggest the hammer, though.
High raw power, charge = wind resistance, and...uh.....High raw power.....Just use a hammer or longsword.

Hammer's are nice, i used the king lobster hammer to take on the blk grav, tooks my friends and i about 5 tries until we finally killed it, they didnt have water weapons or anything like that

i use lobster hammer and my friend used bluewing...ya, but we still beat it.

Ya, try harvesting gravios brn stems for 4 days straight. (other than working at OC Fair and sleep)
