Firewyvrn Brainstem.

Are these very rare? I have already obtained a couple in the past, (Around 4 in total).
I am continuing with killing silver los for rubys and in the rewards this time i got 5 brain stems.. luck? if not then i will use them more often to make stuff

They're rare.
I never got one so i dont know anything to make with them, but all my friends get them in the H.R.5 regular los.

Ok.. this is getting extremely stupid. 5 brainstems in one reward.. After this i just go and beat another silver los.. captured it and guess what.. 3 Rathalos rubys in 1 los.. i mean cmon how can i be getting large amounts of rare items in 1 kill? I'm not complaining or anything but this is just stupid.. i thought maybe a couple were hvy armour spheres.. but no. All 3 were rubys.

seriously.. that one silver los gave me 3 rubys, 1 tail, 3cpc, 3 scl+, 2wings, 4 hrd monster bones, 2 fire wyvern claw and 10 wyvern claw.

I bet i could fight 10+ more and not get a single ruby.. Well atleast when i get rare items i get more than 1 lol...

How do you kill it so quickly?

akantor bow, adrenaline+2 and earplug for armour skills with 50 power coatings, 20 empty bottle, 20 nitroshroom, 5 flash bombs, 2 tranq bombs, 1 shock trap.

The reason i flash bomb it is because rubys are so rare and i havnt the time to run around constantly to aim at it then finding out i die later on wasting 30mins of my time.

So i just flash him then shoot the hell out of him. 5 flash bombs and the 2 supply ones are enough that by the time im finished bowing him he starts to limp.

Also, bomb materials and flashbugs and nitroshrooms can be bought easily at that lady, so i stock up on loads of them then start speed killing. Since i got 3 rubys in 1 kill... i think it works

Lucky, i use "TDS" and full blango U ( I know, I know its stupid, but it has earplugs.)and it takes me too long. Still nice,

its actually a very convienient armour set for this quest. As using adrenaline+2 gives you 412 raw roughly and you have 200 dragon attrib wit the bow. Also it has earplug, and by the time you run out of the 7 flash bombs, hes limping already. Great way to farm rubys

Nice, I'm still angery that i need fire wyvern Brain stem to make a piece of sol mail,

im not bothering with the sol armour set. I would make it, as all the materials i can get easily and effortlessly except for the rubys, and the rubys i need on other things and i do not think that sol armour is worth 5 rubys. I have death stench S at the moment for my main blademaster set with ESP, sharpening skill inc and Abnormal sts atk up (very useful for dual rajang, puts them to sleep quicker)

This set is soo much easier to get than sol armour and has same def per peice. atm my death stench is at 80 a piece and thats without hvy armour sphere upgrades as im saving them for akantor armour.

I just waht the attack up with the ESP, and the last rubyu i got was on the bottom row where it gives you rewards on things you've cut off. kind useful to know.

yes but attack up is a good skill, but there are so many much more useful ones out there. I used to just buy armour for the attack up skills like full rathalos, even though it is a handy armour for low lvls, attack up isn't everything.

Thats true, but the attack boost + ESP = ownage.
And i like Rathalos Sol Mail, It Looks Kool.

My game is evil and every time I say i need an item it hardly gives it to me my friend got a judgement and I wanted to see what it was like and it took me forever to get a hercudrome!

To predian = That sux for you. Do you have a fancy gravios brn stem gathering method like rathalos ruby?
