What armor and weapons are you using?

When you post your kit, remember your HR as well because if you've not got acsess to high rank equipment then this quest is not posible.

Trust me, you want a def over 400 on this one!

For me using a GS was the easiest way and you do need a very tough armor... Something with the ear plug attribute is even better

I'm currently HR 5
and only need to do two blagonga green plesioth and both plesioth. I need any recomendationd you can give me on armor and weapons.

for the ples use a ranged weapon, you'll find it is as easy as killing a herbivor! (might take longer and do more damage though, lol)

For the blagonga melee is the way to go! let it attack, dodge and you attack, keep mashing it till they die (or catch them for speed) auto tracker is the best skill for fighting these furry swines along with a longsword

I almost have the true devil slycer but the only reason I completed it is because me and my friend play together.

Also I want to know if some of the weapons would be good for up coming missons.
Onslaught hammer, blazing falchion, fist of fury, scyth of menace, frost ripper, eternal replica, dos fang dagger, deadly battleaxe, and cyclone.

you said a ranged weapon would be good but a recommendation would be better lol.

first off, do final invitation later, after you beat your first akantor
second, onslaught owns lao, rathalos, and rathian. any kind of 'em

get true devil slicer to kill dual tigrex

you will need your freinds help for those dual tigrex plus TDSlyser (I did it myself after my hunting buddy bogged off!)

for range, Heartshot bow 2, Queen Blaster 3, Prominence bow 3, Jade Tempest, Daora's Delphinidae, Silver Sparticus, Bronze Fire...... and thats all but 2 of my ranged weapons...They all are capable of mashing plesioth.

You can go melee against them, but they do alot of damage to you, so ranged is safer

For Final Invitation it's best to wait until you have the full Akantor armor. An alternative is the Rathalos Soul U armor. I found it easiest to fight him with a Great Sword, I don't know if they are still up on You Tube, but that's where I learned to fight him with a GS.

If you want to go long ranged against a Plesioth the Dragon Bow Solar is an Thunder attribute bow. If you go close ranged the True Devil Slicer is good. By the way, In case you don't know, remeber you can fish a Plesioth out of the water by using a frog when he hasn't spotted you. He takes damage from that.

The armor I used before attaining the Akantor was the Rathalos Super. It gives you Attack Up Large and Speedy Recovery by adding a few jewls.

The Onslaught Hammer is also a good weapon, I believe it's one of the best hammers. Most of the other weapons you mentioned aren't that useful.

When I've finnished my Elder dragon bashing, I will try the Final invatation again.

I killed one of them and then died to a cheap shot near the end!, this made me angry so I did other stuff, however, I found that Guild Knight Sabers (dual swords) with Rathalos Soul U armour is quite successful

(I'm still annoyed with those overgrown chimps, lol)

well now i'm doing really good. me and my friend killed the dual tigrex mission twice(one for each of us) and after that by my self i killed the azure rathalos, pink rathian, gold rathian and silver rathalos. I would get armour from these but i cant ever get rathalos rubies. please help me on getting those.
