Actually, a Corvette C6 could run with the big boys in real life...
From Wikipedia: "Official performance figures indicate that the Z06 can reach 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds from a standing start in first gear. In the summer of 2005, GM and Corvette Racing driver Jan Magnussen brought the new Z06 to the N�rburgring in Germany. Magnussen drove the Z06 to a time of 7:42.99; few production cars have posted faster times. Car and Driver tested the Z06 in their December 2005 issue, recording a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.4 seconds and a standing quarter mile of 11.9 seconds at 125 mph."
I'm pretty sure the top speed is 300kph/185mph (roughly).
Mean while the DB9...uh...has the same speed as the Corvette...
Although, it is a second slower in acceleration from 0-60mph, 4.7 seconds. Although Jeremy Clarkson says it is really cool...

yea both same speed so why should the DB9 stick with the low ranked Tier 2?

Considering that it's not on TV anymore, no I don't watch top gear. I used to whenever I could, though!
