Yeah sometimes if you just lift part of the car i.e. with either level 1/2 hydraulics you can sometimes get a better start.

if u got more pressure on the tail end of the car, then it will give it more grip, if its RWD or 4WD, but if its FWD, ull have to raise the rear hydros

Yeah I know. Sometimes I've lifted both up for a RWD and 4WD and it's been quite effective.

wait, let me correct my last statement, theres gonna b more downforce on both sets if u raise the rear hydros, but there will also b more drag

Creating more grip and thus you have rolling friction instead of sliding friction i.e. you get a smoother start.
