lol, I'm sure, but you really should beat it and save Louie - the King of Bugs!

Hey, have any of you guys ever beaten a creature with one pikmin? One time I had spent a day collecting berries and when I got back to the landing site, one of my blue pikmin was taking on a gatling groink that had wandered over, and it was winning! The groink wasn't accurate enough to hit just one pikmin, so I watched and the pikmin killed the groink on its own!

WOW - how long did that take?
It's easy to destroy most bad guys with one Pikmin, as long as it's a Purple lol!
That way, it can carry it back when it's done with it =)

I'm not sure. When I came back, the groink was down to the red section of health. I found the titan dweevil, but it kiled olimar AND prez and killed all 100 of my pikmin! Any advice?

Absolutely!!! This is what I've told a few people (and it seems to help)...
- It doesn't really matter how many Pikmin you have here as long as they're Yellow.
- It's quality not quantity for this boss.
- So use Olimar to take your Yellows (20's good) over to Louie and reveal the big spider.
- Have the Prez with the other Pikmin in a corner somewhere.
- Use the Yellows to take out the Monster Pump (Water) first.
- It'll take a while to knock out the Pump so if Titan uses the water/poison/fire attack swarm the Yellows together.
- If he uses Electricity just keep attacking.
- Now he can't shoot bubbles of water anymore and he can't drown any of the Pikmin or the ones with the Prez.
- Now go after the Comedy Bomb (Poison) in the same manner.
- It'll take a while and if he uses the poison/fire attack swarm the Yellows together or keep attacking if it's electricity.
- Next get the Flare Cannon (Fire) then the ever so easy Shock Therapist (Electricity).
- If you have some of that Red Ultra-Spicy Spray (D-Pad Down) use it because it's really helpful and useful here.

Tanks for the help, but I managed to beat the titan dweevil yesterday. I did it a bit differently. This is how I did it.

Step 1-Destroy the Shock Therapist so that all pikmin can always be saved.

Step 2-Destroy the Comedy Bomb, as it has a slightly larger range than his other weapons.

Step 3-Destroy the Monster Pump because it is the hardest of the two remaining weapons to dodge(stragglers beware!).

Step 4-Destroy the Flare Cannon.

Step 5-Kill the Titan Dweevil.

That's great, whatever works - congrats! You saved the King of Bugs =)

i think he was because he was mad at olimar for taking the specimeans (recipies) to the onions.

Hmmm, I think the Titan Dweevil was just protecting Louie...

maybe both.... perhaps...

Louie seemed to be thought of as incompetent (at least that's what I thought) maybe he wanted to prove how good he really was. Controlling a titan dweevil would prove his abilities to olimar and prez.

mmm. then again this IS just a video game. the only way we'll ever know is if we kidnap the pikmin 2 game designers for questioning.
