you don't get starters and you get rental pokemon depending on the kind of trainer
the only why to get real non rental pokemon is to connect pokemon diamond or pearl to the wii and transfer them

If you are saying, who is your starter from pokemon diamond and pearl, my starter would be chimchar, but since this is PBR, this topic is very off topic...because like ED mentioned, you don't get a starter.
