Is it just me or are attacks avoided more on this game than any other game.
I just got the game and about every third attack is avoided.

BTW fire punch has 100 percent accuracy. I'm pretty sure no accuracy-reducing moves were used, and this happened more than once!

Anybody else notice this!

I've had pretty crappy luck in regards to stuff like that.
Sometimes my pokemon will attack itself 3 or 4 times in a row due to confusion, or won't attack at all for about 4 turns or so because of attraction.
And then sometimes its just the missing so many attacks in a row with no stat reduction moves being used and the moves having 100 attraction too.

Same happens to me. No accuracy-reducers yet they still miss. It used to happen in my Pearl game a lot too, even if the move has 100 accuracy. It really pisses me off.

When I first battled the Elite Four (and I swear my game is rigged), my attacks missed every single time (no exaggeration, Volcarona missed three times in a row before being knocked) and every move the opponent used was a Critical Hit (OHKO on both Excadrill and Haxorus; took two hits on Lilligant, her first turn was wasted on a Quiver Dance and her Petal Dance missed on the second turn).

I was very annoyed and decided to do homework, instead.

When I finished the assignment, I went back to the game and sweeped the E4. :3 Though I would still call the first attempt just bitter luck.

I defeated the Elite Four in my first attempt which when I heard everyone else, I believe it was just luck also, my attacks did almost KO hits everytime, even when they weren't suppose effective and my pokemon where around the same level at the Elite Fours maybe a level or two less.

I sweeped the Elite Four with my 3 Pokemon team easily. They got KO'ed a few times but I had a good stock of revives.

Nor have I. Except for a couple battles where me enemy gets about three critical hits in a row, but these are rare, and I never have the accuracy problems.

Little info on Darumaka; it has that ability that increases it's attack power but lowers accuracy.

Other than that, this game is been pretty kind to me...
I'm gone - bye

Umm I see 100 percent accuracy but I don't think it is percent.
i think it is more of a point like... it says it will take (Ex)120 damage,
but will it really take 120 damage?
You got to think of the opponent,
by that i mean doesn't the opponent's speed/advasiveness bring that number
down???

what i mean is it says 100% but the opponents speed/advasiveness can (possibly) bring
it down to 35%.

Sorry, that's not how it works. 100 accuracy means that unless an attack that lowers your accuracy, or raises the enemy's evasiveness, that move will always hit. Brightpowder also affects this. Speed has nothing to do with a moves accuracy. Burn is either a) VERY unlucky, or b) that bad at Pokemon. Evil

I've noticed that I encounter wild pokemon more than in the past games. Like after having a wild pokemon battles, as soon as I take one step, here comes another one. It's so annoying. I ended up buying a ton of repels. :|

Yeah I've started to spam repels on pokemon heart gold because it's getting really ridiculous with the amount of wild encounters.

in every pokemon game as soon as i have the cash, i buy 500 max repels. better to have them before and not risk blowing a blood vessel getting so completely ****** off that i'm ready to throw the ds at the wall.
