My 6 year old needs help and I'm frustrated again . . . . help!

I appreciate the help in past. new questions: 1. What are the coupons used for? 2. Can you snag NON-shadow pokemon and if so how? 3. Sometimes we aren't able to use items-it will say "you can't use that item here/now" why? My son has a lot of items that he should be able to use to assist him in battles but i can't figure out how. It's not the easy ones like fixing burns or paralyze but the items that say "increase the pp and reduce the defenders attack" . . .blahblah (that isn't the eact wording but I hope you understand what I'm writing about. The coupons are used to exchange for items in Mt. Battle. No, you can't get non-shadow pokemon, that is XD only. The third one, i think u mean the X items, X accuracy, etc. u use those during a battle.[i][/i]

The only non-shadow pokemon you can catch is Ho-OH!

I haven't played this game, I just want it. My friend says it just appears in your box.

Yes, Ho-oh just goes into your PC or it will go into your team.

1) Mt. Battle has a counter to the far right of the main room where you can exchange earned coupons for prizes.

2) No, you cannot SNAG non-Shadow Pokemon. Ho-Oh can be obtained, but he's actually given to you, after you beat Mt. Battle's 100th platform.

3) Unless I am mistaken for what you mean, mothermole, those are hold items. Otherwise, explain clearer
