Finished up the Realgam fight with all of the pokemon. It then immediately goes to the credits and when the credits finish it says that there is an error to turn off the power and check the machine manual. Anyone know how to get around this? It has happened twice.

The bottom of your game disk is scratched or dirty. It happens to me on other games.

Nothings weird about this happening it's a extremely common problem because nif your GC gets a nudge this could happen and if the disk is scratched or dirty so with the nudge nthing it's a design fault with the gamecube

this happened to me on my metroid prime game but it was only because the disc was dirty.

Precisely. Usually the cause of it would be scratches or mistreatment. There's nothing weird about it, apparently you just have never seen one before; trust me on this, it happened to me on over three different games. Try other games, and see if there's a difference. If there is, then you have a tainted disk and you will have to clean it or buy/borrow a new one.
