no you will not be able to play it on sp so buy a ds.

but for color probably it was a bootleg version or something.

The old Diamond version that came with Jade was a ripoff. Don't buy that.

I am 1000% sure you will not be able to play it on the SP. There wasn't a Diamond version before, if you are thinking about the GBC. It was a fake. I read it somewhere before, but I forget when.
