What do you nickname your Pokemon? And where do you get the names from? This is what I name mine:

Venusaur/Budwiser (it looks like a frog and Budwiser's mascot was a frog)

--The reasons--

Rayquaza is from the Ozone layer, Eintei is fire type to Donald Trumps saying "Your Fired" on "The Apprentice" is perfect, Kyogre is round and big so its like blubber, Mewtwo was created by cloning Mew with a little extra, Suicune and Raikou are also know as the legendary dogs, Moltres sounds like Molten, Articuno is Ice so Antarctica and Artic is good, Uranus is Unknown no need for explanation but oh well Uranus is Unknown;), Zapdos is like the cause for Jupiter having Lightening and thunder, Groudon is one big lizard, Mew is like a Galaxy It can learn everything like the galaxy having many stars, Jirachi is like a world of wishes and life every 10,000 years, Cosmo for Cerebi because I just think it's neat and they both start with C, Virus for Deoxys because it is thought by scientists that Rayquaza's hyper beam has caused a virus in the sky to mutate into a pokemon the virus was supposed to receive it brother and leave.
I use periods because two or spaces next to each other doesn't work.

I like to nickname my Suicune Aqua as in water and stuff so.

i nickname the pokemon i dont like stupid names ( mostly the weak pokemon )

Anyways, I don't often name my Pok�mon. I used call a Ditto "?????" for some reason.

I named my Kyogre Kai and My normal Groudon Gory and my shiny Gory Gold (he has yellowish-gold plates when shiny) Probably many more I can't remember. My friend wanted to breed a Munchlax and I told him you can't but he tried anyway, when it hatched into Snorlax he called it Fat *** and the father Dad *** and the Ditto ***** (wh are the first two letters) Funny thing, he traded me Dad *** lol.

I usually do nickname my Pokemon. It just make them more personal to you. I believe.
