Can you trade pokemon from leafgreen/firered/emerald/ruby/sapphire to diamond/pearl from the GBA slot in the DS? I'm guessing you probably have to get the national pokedex first...
-Sig credit goes to PhilXZ. The pic of Kairi's head was cropped by Rathalos9. Apparently no one else can crop Kairi's head...
Sort of... but it's a one way trade from GBA to DS

You also don't trade the pokemon but you recatch the pokemon with master ball like pokeballs so there is no evidence of which game it was from and who traded except a person will know it came from another game.
yeah,nintendo_dude is right, you must save the game in the old original game in the Pokemon center and turn it off, then got to your p/d and go to the old trading center
So other word your not trading it but does that you keep the pokemon from the GBA game to the DS or do you lose pokemon from the GBA, and have the pokemon that you wanted to send to diamon and pearl on your character GBA version, correct.
No, this is a one way trade in which you send one pokemon from your gameboy advance to either pokemon diamond and pearl and that pokemon can never be sent back to your gameboy advance game again.
What I mean that it is not copy but the pokemon it self, but my only is dealing with the location of the pokemon that is exclusive pokemon from the five GBA game that www.serebii.net list location is this location from GBA or this dealing of finding the pokemon diamond and pearl pal park with pokemon and its location with in the park.
But the pokemon location listed on www.serebii.net is that location in pal park to find the specific pokemon from the GBA exclusive like Magby (leafgrean) or Elekid (firered) but but what if you have all pokemon from all the games trade to one game. because GBA and Gamecube gameboy adapter I own all five GBA games I got all the pokemon from Firered , Leafgreen , ruby , saphire pokemon trade Emerald is where all the pokemon i catch or start with is at. so can I use emerald as my prime source for my pokemon without start a new game for the four or trade back to them.
For trade back the pokemon that belong to firered leafgreen ruby saphire i mean. can one game that has all the pokemon the four that list in this post. start a new game for listed title that i own.
Any you guys going answer my question about using emerald that has all 386 pokemon that i got from my other four pokemon game, because thar www.serebii.net that listed exclusive pokemon that you can get from specific copy of pokemon (i.e. Magby from leafgrean or Elekid from firered or solrock from ruby or lunastone from sapphire) but i got these pokemon on my emerald copy when i trade from the four copy listed I don't even use them or when ever i want mutipil pokemon like Mewtwo or any legends pokemon.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question, could you breif it? But I'll tell you what I thought after I read all that...
You can use any pokemon you want if you have captured it, and pluged it into you pokemon diamond or pearl, it doesn't matter what version it came from...
Now here is my second thought...
I understand the Magby apearing at the certain location in diamond or pearl w/e it's from if you have the leaf green in the slot while playing diamond, but thats totally diff. than trading, to trade you have to go to the pokemon center on emerald/ruby ect. and save there, and turn off the game, but leave the GBA game inside still, now put the Diamond in its DS slot, and go to Pal Park and capture your pokemon that you wanted to trade, but you can only capture 6 pokemon a day, I guess it's so that the DS can recover from something, because that whole idea seems weird to me.
Now, that may not be the answer you were looking for, and someone may have said this already, but hey, I tried, and this is what I thought.
No thats not the location inside pal park, thats the location of the pokemon in the game. Pal Park itself is a location where your traded pokemon go to, so you can re-capture them with a master ball like park ball.
