Why Glacia?

Why did the people make the pokemon Glacia as an Evee evolution? I mean, Vaporeon can already do a lot of ice and water moves. Why didn't they make a Ghost or Steel evolution type?

i was wondering the smae thing myself but to get a glacia u have to level up on ice rock and it dosent sound right to say ghost rock or steel rock in the future they will have more eevee evoes so dont worry if ur a big fan of eevee

Glacia is a good name and Vaporeon takes damage from hail so that's is a good reason dont worry about it if your not an evee fanatic.

True, but I still think Glacia should be able to do some water attacks besides Rain Dance.

I like Glacia, but I am also agreeing with you about other Evee types. It would of been cool to have atleast 5 new Evee types since that is how many the franchise started out with. Ice, Grass, Ghost, Steel, Ground.....I guess we will see if Pokemon goes on to another generation or 2.

Wasn't Glacia the name of one of the Elite 4 in crystal I think or is it in Hoenn? but i know she was in the Elite 4!

Yes Glacia is one of the names of the Elite 4 in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

That's kind of strange lol. A Pokemon named off of a person...

Now that is really weird.

I still think Glacia should learn Water Moves because ice is just a solid form of water.

My opinion is based on the fact they'd rather do Base elements first before adding things like Ghost/Steel.

That would be kind of weird to have a Bug evolution of Evee...

Anyway, turning a Normal type pok�mon into a Ghost type pok�mon would be (you guessed it) killing it. So I doubt there will be a Ghost type evolution of Eevee since everyone in the world of pok�mon are a bunch of pacifists. I mean, if a guy was trying to steal your girlfriend, what would you do? Punch his lights out or battle his pok�mon? I think we have an obvious answer here.

Okay, maybe a ghost idea isn't that great. Poison, flying, dragon, and steel evo's of Eevee sound nice.

I agree with you on how they picked the Evee evo's. Glacia is gonna be a nice addition.

I meant in the world of pok�mon. I know it doesn't exist, but I'm merely stating a fact as to how odd the people in the game are. Everything is resolved by pok�mon battles. Get what I mean now?

A Ghost version probably wouldn't be anywhere near as good as Gengar is anyway.

That is a great idea for one of Evee's evo's.

flying - a eevee just pure white and have two wings sprouted
ground - sand covered (got this from another post
bug - green + dragon fly wings + eyes (a dragon fly bit me once..)
ghost - eevee just in grey + black + see-through, a menacing smile
poison - purple, sharp fangs sprout from teeth + tail turns into a stinger
dragon - eevee loses feet and gets massive wings + a gem on ites forehead, probally blue coloured
steel - metallic, really strong physical moves but low special, feet about 5 cm into the ground


here are some disigns i loooooooooove eevee + im gonna try making an eevee team

+ the ghost thing, you could have it possesed, so like at a certain point of the game you get something/ a place to go to (only works once) and it posses your eevee (a ghost probally glides into it)

so you dont have to kill your eevee

hmmm your forgetting one of the most basic types...fighting...and what about a Normal type evolution? dragon wouldnt work very well in my opinion...comon thats too much of a change...none change THAT drastically...
