Another thing semi-bad about Abomasnow is that Ice attacks will also normally damage Abomasnow, instead of doing not very effective damage.

He is also grass type dragonmasher. Even though he is Ice type he has another type which is grass.

Therefore making him a littel vunerable to ice attacks as well as grass attacks too.

but how do you know that ice will not be not very effective?

It's simple:

Abomasnow's Grass/Ice: Ice is good against Grass, but because Abomasnow's also Ice he'll get somewhat of a defence against it, meaning he won't take 2x damage or 1/2 damage, but he'll take normal damage.

uh what you mean ha i understand but how can you be sure?

Let's see it this way. Ice/Grass.

3=Super Effective
2=Normal
1=Not very effective

Abomasnow vs. Milotic

Milotic used Ice Beam!

Abomasnow's type Ice will defend against that so Ice Beam is 1, but its other type, Grass, is weak against Ice, so Ice Beam is 3. What's the average? 2 is the average, so it will do normal damage.

On topic: I don't like that pokemon... I don't know why, but I just don't (no offence) but I might change my mind when I play the game and get used to the new pokemon.

i think he is a pretty good pokemon i mean defence wise and his type and what not but in battle with most of the gyms he will get beat alot probably, although i suppose if you train him well enough he could survive but you do have to take in his types to whatever your doing cuz he might damage himself with some stuff and watch your double battles your team mate might pull a tard move and almost kill it with overheat or somethin to that affect

well i like his ability... i never said anything about keeping him in after he summons the snow storm lol...

just for the record... defensive wise this thing seems like a pure fire type... ewww...

But since he is Ice/Grass he will take a lot of damage from fire since fire is super effective to both.

I like his design. He's cool.

i would use him but hw wont fit with my party he will be awful he is just to weak and when i fight my friend that has infernape he will destroy me

Then don't use him against infernape.

He will be a sitting duck against any fire type, unless he gets to go first and use a ground move then I can say he might have equal footing.

Infernape will demolish Abomasow lol (the very thought made me laugh when I read someone say don't use em' against infernape, lol XD)
