I am planning to celect some legendary pokemons like Celebi, Jirachi, Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh which I can't catch in pokemon DP, through codes. Does anyone know about which device is better for pokemon games, Action Replay or Game Shark? Thank you.

Hi i have and action reply and my cousin has a Game Shark and u know probly action reply coz most of the Game shark codes stuff ur game or they dont work.

Action Replay, there is no DS Gameshark, as of now. (Ha I am on topic :P)

I have always been using an Action Replay Device, for GBA and DS, and Action Replay works like a charm, I have never went wrong with it.

I have used both. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. I recently aquired an AR and slowly its become the better one to use for me.

The only "Bad" thing about the GBA Action Replay is that, you have to put the codes in yourself, meaning... when you find codes on the internet, most of the codes you see could be incorrect, causing alot of frustration, because you just threw in a billion numbers and letters (for some codes) for a shiny pokemon or some code that "sounds" cool.
The "Good" thing about the "DS" action replay is... they have a automatic updated code list for every new game that comes out, and all you have to do is "copy and paste" the title of the game's name (well.. thats what I do, to get the codes on my DS action replay.)
The only Bad thing about the "DS" action replay is... it might take a while for them to update with codes for the new game that has been released.
