Hmm, in Diamond I'd have to say Lucario, Torterra, Arceus, and Shaymin.
It's getting hard to pick favorites now that there are so many of them. Espically when it comes down to the legendaries!

^^I totally agree, if I had ta make a list of every pokemon I liked it would take me an hour er more (without a list of some sort) an' my mind'd be totally zoned out by tha end. But, I guess a lot of variety is good. But, as fer legendaries, I dunno, most of 'em are Psychic (some are actually good though) an' a lot of 'em are sucky imo.

*nodnod* Thats very true. There are great pokemon of every type. And some of the designs are just awesome, even if the pokemons stats and moves arent that great.
Espically about the legendaries. I mean, it's nice to have some diversity in the different ones, but seeing on how half of them are weak to dark moves it makes you stratigise a bit more. The one downside to legendaries is that they normally have a pretty limited move pool.
I do have to say that some of the lesser used pokemon are nice to see once in awhile though. None of my friends ever use Kangaskhan, and yet if it's got a great movest, it can ge a great pokemon to use.
