You have to learn how to chain first and once done, I wrote my own cleaer guide ( the one i used was confusing) to hlep other people

I have a quick question how long does it take to get a shiny this was normally I got my shinx but it was after I used over 300 max repels AFTER i had a chain of 48

Ive had that once or twice, phanphy took me loads.. and 5 shiny ralts took ages and a traded them all off
apart form my now level 100 shiny galade
Ive chained over 40 shinies now.. you get used to it, I suggest stopping at 40, then keep ressetting

it takes a while, sometimes over 40.... but shadows, how come when i try your 4 step thing, it always gets me the wrong thing.... but when i try the farthest away strategy, it works?

The 4 step thing is the stratergy of farthest away, it must be at least 4 steps away in one direction, so sey a patch shuck,

In your guide you refered to the poketch as the pokeradar. You may want to fix that.
